CHIA is committed to supporting interpreters' goals to advancing their career through training and continuing education.

CHIA offers on-site workshops that are meaningful for interpreters of all levels, providing CEU as an effort to support interpreters' certification, ultimately advancing the profession and serving the LEP population through improved quality of language services in the delivery of health care services.

CHIA values the contribution of trainers to maintaining and improving interpreters' skills. We adhere to standardize practices in selecting trainers with the qualifications to provide instructional workshops that are or can be accredited for CEU. 

The Education Committee welcomes requests for training, and proposals for CHIA-sponsored trainings. Through partnerships with individuals and clinical/non clinical settings throughout the State we are able to host trainings in many areas.
